Virtues of the Ahlul Bayt<\/strong>
\nAbu Sa\u2019eed al Khudri radiyallahu \u2018anhu narrates that Rasulullah \ufdfa said:
\n\u0648\u0627\u0644\u0630\u064a \u0646\u0641\u0633\u064a \u0628\u064a\u062f\u0647 \u060c \u0644\u0627 \u064a\u0628\u063a\u0636\u0646\u0627 \u0623\u0647\u0644 \u0627\u0644\u0628\u064a\u062a \u0623\u062d\u062f \u0625\u0644\u0627 \u0627\u062f\u062e\u0644\u0647 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0627\u0644\u0646\u0627\u0631
\nBy the one in whose hands my life lies, Allah will enter into the fire whoever hates us, the Ahlul Bayt. [Sahih ibn Hibban, vol. 15 pg. 435]<\/p>\n

Among the very important lessons which we learn from this Narration is the unforgiving end result of those who harbour hate for the Ahlul Bayt. The Hadith also makes clear the great rewards for those who love the Ahlul Bayt. If hating them equals entrance into Jahannum, loving them equates entrance into Jannah.<\/p>\n

Ahlul Bayt and how they respected the Sahabah \u0631\u0636\u064a \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0646\u0647\u0645
\nThe belief in the justice of the Companions (RA) and their uprightness is based on the praise of Allah, the Almighty and His Prophet \ufdfa in favour of them.<\/p>\n

Allah, the Almighty says:

\nAnd the foremost to embrace Isl\u00e2m of the Muh\u00e2jir\u00fbn (those who migrated from Makkah to Al-Madinah) and the Ans\u00e2r (the citizens of Al-Madinah who helped and gave aid to the Muh\u00e2jir\u00fbn) and also those who followed them exactly (in Faith). All\u00e2h is well-pleased with them as they are well pleased with Him. He has prepared for them Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise), to dwell therein forever. That is the supreme success. [At Taubah 9: 100]<\/p>\n

And the Ahaadith from the Prophet \ufdfa offered similar lofty praise:<\/strong>
\nIn the two Sahihs from the Hadith of \u2018Abdullah ibn Mas\u2018ud (RA), that he said:

\nThe Prophet (\ufdfa) was asked, “Who are the best people?” He replied: The people of my generation, and then those who will follow (come after) them, and then those who will come after the later; after that there will come some people whose witness will precede their oaths and their oaths will go ahead of their witness.” Ibrahim (a sub-narrator) said, “When we were young, our elder friends used to prohibit us from taking oaths by saying, ‘I bear witness swearing by Allah, or by Allah’s Covenant.”‘ [Bukhari 6658; Muslim 2533]<\/p>\n

Because of what these verses and Hadiths and others have included in terms of praising the Companions of the Messenger \ufdfa in general, the reports from the Ahlul Bayt were inclined to corroborate and magnify the Prophet\u2019s supporters with what they deserve.<\/p>\n

This is what Hadhrat \u2018Ali (RA) said praising the Sahabah (RA):<\/strong>
\n\u201cI have seen the companions of the Messenger \ufdfa and I do not see anyone among you similar to them. They used to enter upon the morning dishevelled with dust where they spent the night prostrating and standing [in prayer]\u2026 having remembered the Hereafter as if there is between their eyes the rakb of al mu\u2018azzi from the length of their prostration (in prayer). If Allah was mentioned their eyes would shed tears to the point that their juy\u00fbb became wet and would move in the same way the trees move on a day of stormy wind out of fear from punishment and hope for the reward\u201d. [Nahj al-Balaghah, p. 189, sermon No 97]<\/p>\n

The plural of rakbah, the part that joins the leg with the thigh (knee). He refers especially to the sheep’s knee due to its dryness and unrest from much movements. That is to say, because of their long prostration (in prayer). There is a rough and round object in between their eyes (forehead), that it further prevents them from sleeping and rest.<\/p>\n

Allah has distinguished them and honoured them with the companionship of His Prophet \ufdfa where they favoured him over themselves with their wealth and their persons. Moreover, they embodied the Islamic personality; they advised the Ummah and put every effort into spreading Islam and establishing its pillars until it became firm in the earth. Allah has humiliated polytheism and polytheists through them by removing their leaders; and Allah has raised His Word via these individuals and driven away falsehood. These results were the fruits of their righteous personalities and pure souls. They were the Awliya of Allah in this world and may Allah be pleased with them all \u0631\u0636\u064a \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0646\u0647\u0645<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
