{"id":65453,"date":"2022-04-14T09:00:30","date_gmt":"2022-04-14T07:00:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/radioislam.org.za\/a\/?p=65453"},"modified":"2022-04-19T11:31:17","modified_gmt":"2022-04-19T09:31:17","slug":"family-part-9-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/radioislam.org.za\/a\/family-part-9-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Family &#8211; Part 9"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Harms of Severing Family Ties<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Yesterday we took a look at the verses of the Holy Quran and the Hadith of Nabi \ufdfa regarding the severity of this matter.<\/p>\n<p>Now let us take a look at what a person stand to lose by cutting off family ties.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Cutting ties risks the chance of entering Paradise altogether<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Jubair bin Mut\u2019am RA narrated that the Messenger of Allah \ufdfa said:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u0644\u0627\u064e \u064a\u064e\u062f\u0652\u062e\u064f\u0644\u064f \u0627\u0644\u0652\u062c\u064e\u0646\u0651\u064e\u0629\u064e \u0642\u064e\u0627\u0637\u0650\u0639\u064c<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe one who severs the ties of kinship will not enter Paradise.\u201d [Agreed upon].<\/p>\n<p>So maybe it could be helpful to pause and ask ourselves: is it worth it? The people replied: Yes, Prophet of Allah! He said: It is putting things right between people, spoiling them is the shaver (destructive).\u201d [Sunan Abi Dawud 4919]<\/p>\n<p>This is the reward of mending relations between people, let alone family members.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Maintaining ties is a proof of true faith and belief<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Prophet \ufdfa said:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u0648\u0645\u0646 \u0643\u0627\u0646 \u064a\u0624\u0645\u0646 \u0628\u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0648\u0627\u0644\u064a\u0648\u0645 \u0627\u0644\u0622\u062e\u0631 \u0641\u0644\u064a\u0635\u0644 \u0631\u062d\u0645\u0647<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe who believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him maintain good relation with kins\u201d [Al Bukhari and Muslim]<\/p>\n<p>So when we work on maintaining the relations, we are in fact practicing true faith in Allah, because we\u2019re favouring Him over personal conflicts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Maintaining ties expands your provision and extends your age<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Not only is maintaining the relations beneficial spiritually, but there are actually physical, tangible rewards for it.<\/p>\n<p>Anas reported the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) as saying:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u0645\u064e\u0646\u0652 \u0633\u064e\u0631\u0651\u064e\u0647\u064f \u0623\u064e\u0646\u0652 \u064a\u064f\u0628\u0652\u0633\u064e\u0637\u064e \u0639\u064e\u0644\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0647\u0650 \u0631\u0650\u0632\u0652\u0642\u064f\u0647\u064f \u0623\u064e\u0648\u0652 \u064a\u064f\u0646\u0652\u0633\u064e\u0623\u064e \u0641\u0650\u064a \u0623\u064e\u062b\u064e\u0631\u0650\u0647\u0650 \u0641\u064e\u0644\u0652\u064a\u064e\u0635\u0650\u0644\u0652 \u0631\u064e\u062d\u0650\u0645\u064e\u0647\u064f \u200f<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnyone who is pleased that his sustenance is expanded and his age extended should do kindness to his near relatives.\u201d [Muslim 2557]<\/p>\n<p>So this actually leads to a longer, healthier and more productive life, as well as, more sustenance and rizq from Allah.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Harms of Severing Family Ties Yesterday we took a look at the verses of the Holy Quran and the Hadith of Nabi \ufdfa regarding the severity of this matter.
