As one million Hujjaj have made their way to the planes of Arafah for this year’s Hajj, pilgrims are expressing the overwhelming feeling of experiencing the journey of Hajj.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Radio Islam International<\/strong><\/em>, sister Zaheera Kaka says she’s feeling overwhelmed with the scenes before her as she prepares for the Wuquf<\/em> time. “So far it been very overwhelming, its also been a great experience meeting new people, making new friends, learning something new everyday, its a journey of a lifetime, its something that i would have never imagined,” she says.<\/p>\n

In preparation for the journey, sister Zaheera says it is essential to take advice from other people who have been on Hajj before and read up on Hajj as it gives a guideline of the journey. “It shows you that you are not alone on this journey, there are others with you which makes it better,” says sister Zaheera.<\/p>\n

Adding on, she says they have been making use of apps to help navigate their journey and a person needs to be physically mobile as there is a lot of walking required.<\/p>\n
