There is a slight reprieve from midnight tonight when it will be reduced to Stage 5, but that is scant relief after weeks of problems.<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Discussing with\u00a0<em>Radio Islam International,<\/em> energy expert Ted Blom said that the situation is very dire, and the management seems inexperienced and incapable of analysing correct information to which appropriate action should follow.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Eskom is burning through billions of rands of fuel, which will only deepen the financial crisis in the entity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">According to Ted, the load shedding cost per kWh is R500.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8220;Sometimes Eskom is stupid in how they apply their minds,&#8221; he says.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Ted stated that permanently intimating load shedding level two will not help refurbish.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span>He added that de Ruyter has failed on every account of his promises.<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The President, Cyril Ramaphosa, has cut short his overseas visit to return to the country and address the electricity crisis.
