Mix well with wooden spoon.    (This allows for the butter to melt and soften)<br \/>   Beat 4 eggs and 1 teaspoon caramel essence. Add this to the above mixture.&nbsp; Sift 2 &frac12; cups of flour; 1-heaped teaspoon baking powder and&nbsp; Heaped teaspoon mix spice.
