Add lemon rind, 1 egg at a time and beat till well blended. Sift in flour, baking powder and salt twice, then add poppy seeds. Mix together the water and lemon juice. Alternately add the flour mixture and lemon\/ water to egg mixture till all is well blended. Grease a ring pan well pour mixture into pan and bake 180&Acirc;&deg; for 40 minutes.
