\u201cIman consists of sixty-odd branches. And modesty is a very important branch of Iman.\u201d Bukhari<\/p>\n

Once Nabi \u0635\u0644\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0644\u064a\u0647 \u0648 \u0633\u0644\u0645 was asked about the awrah:\u00a0 \u201cWhat should be covered and what can be left open?\u201d Nabi \u0635\u0644\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0644\u064a\u0647 \u0648 \u0633\u0644\u0645 replied: \u201cDo not expose your awrah except your spouse.\u201d\u00a0 Nabi \u0635\u0644\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0644\u064a\u0647 \u0648 \u0633\u0644\u0645 was further asked: \u201cWhat if some people are in the presence of others?\u201d Nabi \u0635\u0644\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0644\u064a\u0647 \u0648 \u0633\u0644\u0645 replied: \u201cIf you are able that nobody sees your awrah then do not let anybody see it.\u201d Abu Dawood<\/p>\n

The Awrah of a\u00a0 male is the area between the navel and the knees.<\/p>\n

The Awrah of a Muslim woman unto another Muslim woman is also the area between the navel and the knees.<\/p>\n

The Awrah of a Muslim woman unto a non-Muslim woman is the entire body besides the hands, feet, and face.<\/p>\n

Hence, it is not permissible for a male or female to expose the area between the navel and the knees for the purpose of waxing or laser hair removal.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, if the person doing the waxing or laser for a Muslim female, is a non-Muslim female –\u00a0 then it will not be permissible for her to do the waxing or laser of the Muslim female\u2019s legs, arms, or any other part of the body, except the face, hands, and feet because a Non-Muslim female is only allowed to see the hands, face, and feet of a Muslim lady.<\/p>\n

It is also not permissible for a strange female to do waxing or laser for a strange male or for a\u00a0 strange male to do waxing or laser for a strange female.<\/p>\n

Added to this, one should abstain from going to salons as these are places where many violations of the laws of Almighty Allah take place.<\/p>\n
