Abu Musa AlAshari RA reported Allah\u2019s Messenger \ufdfa as saying, ‘Whoever prays the two cool prayers will go to Paradise.’ [Bukhari and Muslim]<\/p>\n
The \u2018cold\u2019 \u1e62alaahs refer to the Fajr and A\u1e63r \u1e62alaahs. They are referred to as such because it is relatively cooler during these times of the day compared to other times.<\/p>\n
At the time of Fajr Salaah people are enjoying their sleep while at the time of A\u1e63r Salaah they are concluding their business activities for the day, hence to perform these \u1e62alaahs punctually is a sign of sincerity and displays love for worship.<\/p>\n
The Hadith does not mean that Paradise is guaranteed for one who performs only these two \u1e62alaahs, rather it points to the fact that one who performs these two \u1e62alaahs will observe the remaining three \u1e62alaahs more regularly and punctually.<\/p>\n
Some scholars are of the view that the two \u2018cold\u2019 \u1e62alaahs refer to Fajr and Isha. At the time of Isha, the weather is also cool, in fact cooler than the time of Asr. The time of Isha is also a difficult time because at night people are generally tired from the day\u2019s toils.<\/p>\n

[Bukhari and Muslim].<\/p>\n Another narration of Muslim is: The Messenger of Allah \ufdfa said, “He will not enter Jannah whose neighbour is not secure from his wrongful conduct”.<\/p>\n Moreover, helping him in his need, sending him occasional gifts, sharing his joys and sorrows are all meritorious and rewarding acts.
