KHATIJA EBRAHIM<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>SALT AND PEPPER MUTTON<\/strong><br \/>\nMarinate 1 kg mutton with the following ingredients:<br \/>\n3 tblsp Nandos Pepper Sauce<br \/>\n3 tblsp sour cream<br \/>\nSalt to taste<br \/>\nWhite pepper<br \/>\nBlack pepper<br \/>\n3 tblps green masala<br \/>\nLemon pepper<br \/>\nGarlic pepper<br \/>\n3 tblsp fresh garlic<br \/>\n2 tblsp lemon juice<br \/>\n2 tblsp vinegar<br \/>\n2 tblsp white onion soup and about 3 tblsp olive oil<br \/>\nCook till done then add a few blobs of butter -serve with veggies<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>LAHORI CHOPS<\/strong><br \/>\n1 kg chops<br \/>\n2 tsp ginger garlic paste<br \/>\n1 \u00bd tsp salt<br \/>\n\u00bc tsp turmeric<br \/>\n1 tsp crushed red chillies<br \/>\n1 \u00bd tsp chilli powder<br \/>\n2 tbsp tomato sauce<br \/>\n2 tbsp chilli sauce of your choice<br \/>\n2 tbsp lemon juice<br \/>\n\u00bd tsp steak and chops spice<br \/>\n\u00bc tsp black pepper<br \/>\nAdd all spices to chops and let it marinate for few hours. Heat pot add 2 tab of ghee and add 4 cloves garlic (cut up). Braise till garlic turns pink and throw in chops. Cook until chops are tender.<br \/>\nStir fry to add to chops:<br \/>\n1 onion<br \/>\n1 green pepper<br \/>\n2 tomatoes<br \/>\n*Cut the above in rings<br \/>\n1 green chillie<br \/>\n1 tsp salt<br \/>\n\u00bc tsp turmeric<br \/>\n1 tsp chilli powder<br \/>\nHeat frying pan add all the above ingredients and cook in butter until soft.<br \/>\nDish out chops on platter and then the stir fry on top. Drain<br \/>\nIn the same oil\u2026 Braise..The following<br \/>\n2 grated onion<br \/>\nwhen onions turn pink add<br \/>\n2 tsp dhana jeero<br \/>\nArad<br \/>\nRoasted poppy seed and jeero<br \/>\nBraise for 1 minute<br \/>\nAdd<br \/>\n1 large chopped tomato<br \/>\n4 tbls yoghurt<br \/>\nSimmer for 5 minutes<br \/>\nAdd chopped mint leaves and coriander. Then add marinated mutton, half of the fried onions, with a little water. Close pot and cook till meat is tender.<br \/>\nBefore serving add 1 tsp garam masala and simmer.<br \/>\nGarnish with remainder of fried onion, chopped mint leaves and coriander.<br \/>\nServe with potato wedges and roti or naan<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>COURTESY ..
