The Khidmatun Naas Foundation, in conjunction with the Lenz Boys, is hosting a feeding and fun day for the disadvantaged kids on the 15th of July, 2023. The event will take place on Plot 51, Kliprivier Road, Johannesburg.<\/p>\n

The foundation began on a WhatsApp group in 2019\/2020, initially known as Nirvana Boys from Nirvana High School.<\/p>\n

The group has since grown, frequently assisting the community. Suliman Patel and Muhammed Ameen Wadi highlighted the purpose of the foundation’s exercise, projects and finances.<\/p>\n

“The morning begins by the team waking up fellow Muslims for Fajr Salaah. Followed by a weekly bread run and a monthly feeding scheme,” says Patel.<\/p>\n

The Khidmatun Naas Foundation assists with Fitrah during Ramadhan and does once a monthly orphanage project and some ADHOC duties.<\/p>\n

According to Patel, some projects the Khidmatun Naas Foundation completed include five water wells in Malawi, a borehole project in South Africa and a Masjid Musalla in Finetwon.<\/p>\n

“What we do is an investment policy for the Akhira. While we know it’s difficult for a person to put up water well alone, contributing together we sell shares for the Akhira,” said Patel.<\/p>\n

The Khidmatun Naas Foundation has previously teamed up with The Fountain of Inspiration to do some walkers and wheelchairs and did around one thousand sleeping bags in Turkey.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the 15th of July programme will entail a mass feeding partnering with Sheikh Tariq, who started an orphanage on the Kliprivier plot.<\/p>\n

“We have an entire day planned on feeding, entertaining and spending time with the children. Around 300 to 500 children are expectations be at the event,” adds Wadi.<\/p>\n
