Boil sago and milk until thick. Add cardamom, stick cinnamon, vanilla essence, butter and sugar. Leave to cool. Add 1 Tbsp custard mixed with &frac14; cup water. Add lightly beaten eggs. Pour mixture into pyrex dish and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and dot with butter.
