Regarding the statement of Allah Almighty:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u06a9\u064f\u0646\u06e1\u062a\u064f\u0645\u06e1 \u062e\u064e\u06cc\u06e1\u0631\u064e \u0627\u064f\u0645\u0651\u064e\u06c3\u064d \u0627\u064f\u062e\u06e1\u0631\u0650\u062c\u064e\u062a\u06e1 \u0644\u0650\u0644\u0646\u0651\u064e\u0627\u0633\u0650<\/span><\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

YOU ARE indeed the best community that has ever been brought forth for [the good of] mankind \u2026 [Aal Imran 3: 110]<\/span><\/p>\n

The Messenger of Allah\u00a0\ufdfa<\/span>\u00a0said:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u0627\u064e\u0646\u0652\u062a\u064f\u0645\u0652 \u062a\u064f\u062a\u0650\u0645\u0651\u064f\u0648\u0646\u064e \u0633\u064e\u0628\u0652\u0639\u0650\u064a\u0646\u064e \u0627\u064f\u0645\u0651\u064e\u0629\u064b \u0627\u064e\u0646\u0652\u062a\u064f\u0645\u0652 \u062e\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0631\u064f\u0647\u064e\u0627 \u0648\u064e\u0627\u064e\u0643\u0652\u0631\u064e\u0645\u064f\u0647\u064e\u0627 \u0639\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0651\u064e\u0647<\/span><\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

‘You are the completion of seventy nations, you are the best of them, and the most honorable of them to Allah.” [Tirmidhi – 3001]<\/span><\/p>\n

This hadith denotes a most precious aspect of being from the Prophet\u00a0\ufdfa<\/span>\u2019s followers. Certainly, the gift of being from his nation is a favour for which we cannot thank Allah enough, let alone for being the best nation.<\/span><\/p>\n

The meaning of \u2018best Ummah\u2019<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Before Allah Almighty, no nation compares to the Ummah of the Prophet\u00a0\u0635\u064e\u0644\u0651\u064e\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0640\u0644\u0651\u0670\u0640\u0647\u064f \u0639\u064e\u0644\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0647\u0650 \u0648\u064e\u0627\u0670\u0644\u0650\u0647\u0656 \u0648\u064e\u0633\u064e\u0644\u0651\u064e\u0645<\/span>\u00a0being the best. The Preserved Tablet records this nation as the most superior, and previous nations were foretold of the Muhammadan nation.<\/span><\/p>\n

So who is included in the \u201cBest Ummah\u201d?<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>The noble Prophet\u00a0\ufdfa<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>stated:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u200f \u062e\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0631\u064f \u0627\u0644\u0646\u0651\u064e\u0627\u0633\u0650 \u0642\u064e\u0631\u0652\u0646\u0650\u064a\u060c \u062b\u064f\u0645\u0651\u064e \u0627\u0644\u0651\u064e\u0630\u0650\u064a\u0646\u064e \u064a\u064e\u0644\u064f\u0648\u0646\u064e\u0647\u064f\u0645\u0652\u060c \u062b\u064f\u0645\u0651\u064e \u0627\u0644\u0651\u064e\u0630\u0650\u064a\u0646\u064e \u064a\u064e\u0644\u064f\u0648\u0646\u064e\u0647\u064f\u0645\u0652<\/span><\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cThe best of people are those from my time, then those who will follow them, and then those that will follow them.\u201d [Bukhari]\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to this hadith, the Companions\u00a0\u0639\u064e\u0640\u0644\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0647\u0650\u0645\u064f \u0627\u0644\u0631\u0650\u0651\u0636\u0652\u0648\u064e\u0627\u0646\u0652<\/span>\u00a0are the most superior believers, followed by their students, and that the earlier people of this Ummah are superior to the latter ones.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>The entire Ummah of the Prophet\u00a0\ufdfa<\/span>\u00a0is included in being the best.\u00a0\u00a0This is because the reasons that make it the best Ummah are found in them, such as their pure beliefs, conviction, ever increasing love for the Prophet\u00a0\ufdfa<\/span>, and steadfastness on Allah\u2019s religion.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>The honour of being the best is for those that encourage good and forbid evil. Enjoining right and forbidding evil is a condition for attaining this distinction of being \u2018best\u2019.\u00a0\u00a0This honour will cease when people relinquish this. Mujahid R states, \u201cYou will be called the best nation from the nations that came forth when the qualities \u02f9of enjoining right and forbidding evil\u02fa mentioned in the blessed verse manifest in you.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The Ummah of Nabi\u00a0\ufdfa<\/span>\u00a0is not only the best, but will also be the largest.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

The number of the followers [Ummatees] of the Holy Prophet\u00a0\ufdfa<\/span>\u00a0is more than the followers of all the blessed Prophets\u00a0\u0639\u064e\u0640\u0644\u064e\u0640\u064a\u0652\u0647\u0650\u0645\u064f \u0627\u0644\u0633\u0651\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0627\u0645<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nabi\u00a0\ufdfa<\/span>\u00a0had himself said:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018\u0627\u064e\u0646\u064e\u0627 \u0627\u064e\u0643\u0652\u062b\u064e\u0631\u064f \u0627\u0644\u0652\u0627\u064e\u0646\u0652\u0628\u0650\u064a\u064e\u0627\u0621\u0650 \u062a\u064e\u0628\u064e\u0639\u064b\u0627 \u064a\u064e\u0648\u0652\u0645\u064e \u0627\u0644\u0652\u0642\u0650\u064a\u064e\u0627\u0645\u064e\u0629\u0650<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

On the Day of Judgement, my Ummah will be greater [in numbers] than (the Ummahs) of all the blessed Prophets [\u0639\u064e\u0640\u0644\u064e\u0640\u064a\u0652\u0647\u0650\u0645\u064f \u0627\u0644\u0633\u0651\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0627\u0645<\/span>]. [Muslim]<\/span><\/p>\n
