{"id":8464,"date":"2007-09-04T02:57:57","date_gmt":"2007-09-04T00:57:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dev.radioislam.org.za\/wordpress\/2007\/09\/04\/lamb-delux\/"},"modified":"2007-09-04T02:57:57","modified_gmt":"2007-09-04T00:57:57","slug":"lamb-delux","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/radioislam.org.za\/a\/lamb-delux\/","title":{"rendered":"Lamb delux"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><font face=\"Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif\" color=\"#0000ff\"><strong><u> <\/u><\/strong><\/font><\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\"> <\/div>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong><u>Ingredients :<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\"> <\/div>\n<p align=\"justify\">&frac14; teaspoon saffron strands<br \/>   &frac14; cup boiling water<br \/>   1 &frac12; kg lamb, diced<br \/>   1 cup plain yogurt<br \/>   &frac12; cup mint leaves<br \/>   &frac12; cup cold water<br \/>   2 tablespoons ghee<br \/>   2 tablespoons oil<br \/>   2 medium onions, sliced<br \/>   &frac12; tablespoon crushed garlic<br \/>   1 tablespoon crushed ginger<br \/>   1 tablespoon ground jeero<br \/>   1 cinnamon stick (tuj)<br \/>   5 cardamon pods (elachie)<br \/>   4 cloves (lavang)<br \/>   &frac12; cup ground almonds<br \/>   1 tablespoon lime juice<br \/>   &frac14; cup green, chopped dhannia<br \/>   2 tablespoons chopped mint leaves<\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\"> <\/div>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong><u>Method :<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\"> <\/div>\n<p align=\"justify\">&#8211; Combine Saffron and boiling water &acirc;&euro;&ldquo; stand for 10 minutes.<br \/>   &#8211; Combine lamb, yogurt and saffron in a large bowl<br \/>   &#8211; Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.<br \/>   &#8211; Blend or process water and mint leaves until purees, reserve.<br \/>   &#8211; Heat ghee and oil. Add onions and cook until lightly browned<br \/>   &#8211; Add garlic, ginger and all spices.
