In a culmination of lavish celebrations, the wedding of Brunei’s Prince Abdul Mateen, 32, and his bride, Pengiran Anak Isteri Anisha Rosnah, 29, reached its pinnacle on Sunday with a dazzling ceremony at the expansive Istana Nurul Iman palace.<\/p>\n
Donning ceremonial attire, the newlyweds, accompanied by government leaders and esteemed guests from Asia and the Middle East, paraded through the capital, Bandar Seri Begawan, amid a festive atmosphere.<\/p>\n
Prince Abdul Mateen, once considered one of Asia’s most eligible bachelors, married Anisha Rosnah, hailing from a prominent Bruneian family.<\/p>\n
The Prince’s father is Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, the world’s longest-reigning monarch and former richest person globally.<\/p>\n
The celebration drew thousands of onlookers, with the city embracing a joyful mood, offering free ice cream and refreshments along the parade route.<\/p>\n
Among the distinguished guests were royalty from Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Bhutan.<\/p>\n
Notable government figures, including Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, Indonesian President Joko Widodo, and Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos, added to the grandeur of the occasion.<\/p>\n
