{"id":8536,"date":"2009-11-19T14:43:28","date_gmt":"2009-11-19T12:43:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dev.radioislam.org.za\/wordpress\/2009\/11\/19\/sauce-steak-191109\/"},"modified":"2009-11-19T14:43:28","modified_gmt":"2009-11-19T12:43:28","slug":"sauce-steak-191109","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/radioislam.org.za\/a\/sauce-steak-191109\/","title":{"rendered":"Sauce Steak 19.11.09"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana\">1 kg minute steak\/fillet slices<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana\">5 ml (1 teaspoon) each of salt &amp; pepper<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana\">25 ml (2 tablespoons) lemon juice<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana\">10 ml (2 teaspoons) fresh ground red chillies<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana\">10 ml (2 teaspoons) ground garlic<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana\">25 ml (2 tablespoons) ghee<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana\">250 ml (1 cup) fresh cream mix\/beat<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana\">1 small tin tomato paste (mix into cream)<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana\">Method:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" class=\"MsoNormal\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana\">Wash and dry steak pieces well.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana\">Mix chilles, garlic, salt, pepper and lemon juice together and coat the steak with this.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana\">In a pot heat ghee and add the steak to it. Cook until almost done, adding a little water if necessary.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Verdana\">Once its its almost done, pour in beaten cream\/tomato paste mixture and allow the steak to simmer on low (allow the sauce to thicken slightly).
