{"id":8673,"date":"2007-09-03T02:41:09","date_gmt":"2007-09-03T00:41:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dev.radioislam.org.za\/wordpress\/2007\/09\/03\/burfee-2\/"},"modified":"2007-09-03T02:41:09","modified_gmt":"2007-09-03T00:41:09","slug":"burfee-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/radioislam.org.za\/a\/burfee-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Burfee"},"content":{"rendered":"<div align=\"justify\"> <\/div>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span class=\"style6\">Ingredients<br \/>   <\/span><span class=\"style1\">500g &nbsp;Klim Powder Sachet or tin<br \/>   250ml Fresh Cream <br \/>   1 small tin Nestle Cream (155g)<\/span><\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\"> <\/div>\n<p class=\"style1\" align=\"justify\"><strong>Syrup<\/strong><br \/>   &frac12; Cup Rose water<br \/>   1 Cup water<br \/>   2 Cups sugar<br \/>   &frac34; Cup ground almonds<br \/>   1 tsp ground elachi<br \/>   2 tblsps melted ghee<\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\"> <\/div>\n<p class=\"style6\" align=\"justify\">Method<\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\"> <\/div>\n<ol class=\"style5\">\n<li>Make       Mawa with fresh cream only (boil till thick allow to cool)<\/li>\n<li>Empty       Klim in a dish and add nestle cream and fresh cream that has been boiled.<\/li>\n<li>Rub       in to resemble bread crumbs.<\/li>\n<li>For       better Burfee leave this overnight.<\/li>\n<li>Grind       mixture in coffe grinder and add ground almonds and elachi.<\/li>\n<li>Make       a sticky syrup, when syrup is lukewarm add to the klim mixture.<\/li>\n<li>Add       2 tblsps of ghee and cover <\/li>\n<li>Leave       in refrigerator for &Acirc;&frac12; hour.<\/li>\n<li>Decorate       with colored sliced almonds.<\/li>\n<li>Slice       or use fancy cutter.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div align=\"justify\"> <\/div>\n<p class=\"style1\" align=\"justify\"><strong>PISTA  BURFEE<\/strong><br \/>   Use the same recipe as above but  instead of &Acirc;&frac34; cup almonds add &Acirc;&frac34; cup ground pista. Add a drop of green colouring.<br \/>   Burfee must be very light in  colour.
