{"id":8848,"date":"2008-03-17T13:22:02","date_gmt":"2008-03-17T11:22:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dev.radioislam.org.za\/wordpress\/2008\/03\/17\/chicken-a-vegetable-curry-150308\/"},"modified":"2008-03-17T13:22:02","modified_gmt":"2008-03-17T11:22:02","slug":"chicken-a-vegetable-curry-150308","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/radioislam.org.za\/a\/chicken-a-vegetable-curry-150308\/","title":{"rendered":"Chicken &#038; Vegetable Curry (15.03.08)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"\"><br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Ingredients:<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Olive oil<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">2 onions, Finely chopped<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">4 carrots sliced into rounds<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">1 dhodi peeled and cubed<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">3 baby marrows sliced<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">2 green peppers cut into chunks<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">2 brinjals cubed<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">4 large tomatoes, skinned and cubed<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">1kg lamb meat, cubed<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">1 tsp fresh garlic \u00e2\u0080\u0093 crushed<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">1 Tbsp red masala ginger garlic<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">1 tsp <st1:City w:st=\"on\"><st1:place w:st=\"on\">arad<\/st1:place><\/st1:City> \u00e2\u0080\u0093 saffron strands<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">1 tsp dhana jeero<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u00c2\u00bd tsp ground elachi \u00e2\u0080\u0093 optional<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">1 Tbsp honey\/ Brown sugar<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">2 Tbsp tomato puree<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">4 Tbsp canned chick peas<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">2 Tbsp parsley chopped<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">1 cup yoghurt<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Method:<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Heat 1 Tbsp olive oil in pot, add the onions and the meat and cook till tender. Add the garlic and cook further.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Add carrots, dhodi, baby marrow, green peppers, brinjals, chick peas, tomato puree and all the spices, herbs and honey\/brown sugar.
