Let us take a look at some of the key principles and guidelines that outline the discipline of actions in Islam:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong> Living with Integrity and Honesty (Sidq)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Just as truthfulness is crucial in speech, it is equally vital in actions. [Al-Ma&#8217;idah 5: 8]<\/p>\n<p>The Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa was known for his integrity, earning the title &#8220;Al-Amin&#8221; (the Trustworthy) even before his Prophet-hood.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong> Justice and Fairness (Adl)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Muslims are commanded to be fair and just in all dealings. Stand firm for justice and bear true witness for the sake of Allah, even though it be against yourselves, your parents or your relatives.<\/p>\n<p>Islam condemns all forms of oppression and injustice. The Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa said, \u201cHelp your brother, whether he is an oppressor or he is oppressed\u201d [Bukhari], implying that one should stop the oppressor from causing harm.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong> Compassion and Kindness (Rahmah)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Actions should be infused with mercy and kindness. The Quran frequently mentions Allah\u2019s attribute of being the Most Merciful, setting a precedent for believers to emulate. The Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa exemplified compassion, as seen in his treatment of animals, the needy, and even his adversaries.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><strong> Self-Control and Patience (Sabr)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Patience is a virtue highly valued in Islam. Surah Al-Baqarah [2: 153] encourages Believers to seek help through patience and prayer. Muslims are expected to exercise self-control in the face of temptations and challenges.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li><strong> Modesty and Humility (Tawadhu&#8217;)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Muslims are encouraged to be humble in their actions and interactions. describes the servants of the Merciful as those who walk on the earth humbly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u0648\u064e\u0639\u0650\u0628\u064e\u0627\u062f\u064f \u0671\u0644\u0631\u0651\u064e\u062d\u0652\u0645\u064e\u0640\u0670\u0646\u0650 \u0671\u0644\u0651\u064e\u0630\u0650\u064a\u0646\u064e \u064a\u064e\u0645\u0652\u0634\u064f\u0648\u0646\u064e \u0639\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0649 \u0671\u0644\u0652\u0623\u064e\u0631\u0652\u0636\u0650 \u0647\u064e\u0648\u0652\u0646\u064b\u0627<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>True servants of the Compassionate (Allah) are those who walk on the earth in humility\u2026 [Al-Furqan 25: 63]<\/p>\n<p>Arrogance is condemned in Islam, and believers are reminded that pride leads to their downfall.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li><strong> Generosity and Charity (Ithar)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Acts of generosity and charity are highly regarded. The Quraan likens charity to a seed growing into multiple ears of corn, signifying abundant rewards. True generosity often involves sacrifice, putting the needs of others before one&#8217;s own. This was a salient characteristic of the Prophet \ufdfa and his illustrious Companions RA.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"7\">\n<li><strong> Social Responsibility and Cooperation (Ta&#8217;awun)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Islam encourages active participation in the community and helping one another in righteousness and piety. And be kind to parents, relatives, orphans, the poor, near and distant neighbours, close friends, &#8216;needy&#8217; travellers, and those &#8216;bondspeople&#8217; in your possession. [An-Nisaa 4: 36]<\/p>\n<p>The Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa said,<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;\u200f \u0644\u0627\u064e \u064a\u064f\u0624\u0652\u0645\u0650\u0646\u064f \u0623\u064e\u062d\u064e\u062f\u064f\u0643\u064f\u0645\u0652 \u062d\u064e\u062a\u0651\u064e\u0649 \u064a\u064f\u062d\u0650\u0628\u0651\u064e \u0644\u0623\u064e\u062e\u0650\u064a\u0647\u0650 &#8211; \u0623\u064e\u0648\u0652 \u0642\u064e\u0627\u0644\u064e \u0644\u0650\u062c\u064e\u0627\u0631\u0650\u0647\u0650 &#8211; \u0645\u064e\u0627 \u064a\u064f\u062d\u0650\u0628\u0651\u064f \u0644\u0650\u0646\u064e\u0641\u0652\u0633\u0650\u0647\u0650 \u200f&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;None of you [truly] believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself&#8221; [Bukhari].<\/p>\n<p><strong>Practical Application<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>These principles translate into a wide array of practical behaviours:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Family Life:<\/strong> Treating family members with kindness, fulfilling responsibilities, and fostering an environment of love and respect.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Work and Business:<\/strong> Conducting business with honesty, avoiding fraud, and ensuring fair dealings.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Community Involvement:<\/strong> Participating in community service, advocating for justice, and helping those in need.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Personal Development: <\/strong>Continuously seeking knowledge, improving oneself, and striving for moral and spiritual growth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The discipline of actions in Islam is a holistic approach that guides every aspect of a Muslim&#8217;s life, encouraging a balance between personal development, ethical behaviour, and social responsibility.
