When Allah sent Musa AS to Firaun, a tyrant who used to cause terror during his time, he refused to heed Musa AS\u2019s message. Even when the signs of Allah were apparent, he was still adamant and refused to accept Musa AS\u2019s message. He even went as far as asking Musa AS in Surah Ash-Shu\u2019ara verse 23:<\/p>\n
\u0648\u064e\u0645\u064e\u0627 \u0631\u064e\u0628\u0651\u064f \u0671\u0644\u0652\u0639\u064e\u0640\u0670\u0644\u064e\u0645\u0650\u064a\u0646\u064e<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cAnd what is \u2018the Lord of all worlds\u2019?\u201d<\/p>\n He didn\u2019t ask these questions as someone who is concerned, but as someone who wanted to challenge Musa AS, because he believes he is god and there can\u2019t be another god!<\/p>\n He challenged the existence of Allah! Allah whose power and might supersedes all things, and everything between heaven and the earth is subject to him and functions by His permission.<\/p>\n Musa AS responded to Firaun by telling him One of Allah\u2019s signs is His creation of heaven and earth and what is between them (jinns, angels, etc). And if you are of those who reason, you\u2019ll surely know this is the creation of Allah alone.<\/p>\n \u0642\u064e\u0627\u0644\u064e \u0631\u064e\u0628\u0651\u064f \u0671\u0644\u0633\u0651\u064e\u0645\u064e\u0640\u0670\u0648\u064e\u0670\u062a\u0650 \u0648\u064e\u0671\u0644\u0652\u0623\u064e\u0631\u0652\u0636\u0650 \u0648\u064e\u0645\u064e\u0627 \u0628\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0646\u064e\u0647\u064f\u0645\u064e\u0627\u0653 \u06d6 \u0625\u0650\u0646 \u0643\u064f\u0646\u062a\u064f\u0645 \u0645\u0651\u064f\u0648\u0642\u0650\u0646\u0650\u064a\u0646\u064e<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cHe is\u02fa the Lord of the heavens and the earth and everything in between, if only you had sure faith.\u201d<\/p>\n This response is a befitting one for those who do not believe that there is no God or for those who think God used to exist and has died. The idea that God doesn\u2019t exist goes against sound reasoning as truly Allah exists. Allah created the first human being Adam AS and the rest of us without any one\u2019s help.<\/p>\n Firaun mocked Musa AS\u2019s response as he did not have a logical response other than that. This is what often leads to arguments when debates ensue with those who do not believe. This is because they keep raising unreasonable and illogical points that defeat sound reasoning.<\/p>\n Firaun then turned to the people after realizing the weight of Musa AS\u2019s response and said:<\/p>\n \u0623\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0627 \u062a\u064e\u0633\u0652\u062a\u064e\u0645\u0650\u0639\u064f\u0648\u0646\u064e<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cDid you hear what he said?\u201d<\/p>\n This is to further make a mockery of Musa AS. And although Firaun could see but failed to accept the truth, he didn\u2019t want Musa AS to win the people over. Musa AS made it known to Firaun that he himself who thinks so highly of himself was also created by Allah. We should always remember that regardless of our position in life, we are still subject to Allah.<\/p>\n Musa \u0639\u0644\u064a\u0647 \u0627\u0644\u0633\u0644\u0627\u0645 responded:<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong>\u0631\u064e\u0628\u0651\u064f\u0643\u064f\u0645\u0652 \u0648\u064e\u0631\u064e\u0628\u0651\u064f \u0621\u064e\u0627\u0628\u064e\u0627\u0653\u0626\u0650\u0643\u064f\u0645\u064f \u0671\u0644\u0652\u0623\u064e\u0648\u0651\u064e\u0644\u0650\u064a\u0646\u064e<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cHe is\u02fa your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers.\u201d<\/p>\n Firaun again, could not find a befitting and better response to Musa \u0639\u0644\u064a\u0647 \u0627\u0644\u0633\u0644\u0627\u0645, he then resorted to vulgar words and faced the people saying:<\/p>\n \u0625\u0650\u0646\u0651\u064e \u0631\u064e\u0633\u064f\u0648\u0644\u064e\u0643\u064f\u0645\u064f \u0671\u0644\u0651\u064e\u0630\u0650\u0649\u0653 \u0623\u064f\u0631\u0652\u0633\u0650\u0644\u064e \u0625\u0650\u0644\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0643\u064f\u0645\u0652 \u0644\u064e\u0645\u064e\u062c\u0652\u0646\u064f\u0648\u0646\u064c\u06ed<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cthe one who you called the Messenger of Allah, is he not a mad man?\u201d<\/p>\n Musa only went further by saying:<\/p>\n \u0631\u064e\u0628\u0651\u064f \u0671\u0644\u0652\u0645\u064e\u0634\u0652\u0631\u0650\u0642\u0650 \u0648\u064e\u0671\u0644\u0652\u0645\u064e\u063a\u0652\u0631\u0650\u0628\u0650 \u0648\u064e\u0645\u064e\u0627 \u0628\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0646\u064e\u0647\u064f\u0645\u064e\u0627\u0653 \u06d6 \u0625\u0650\u0646 \u0643\u064f\u0646\u062a\u064f\u0645\u0652 \u062a\u064e\u0639\u0652\u0642\u0650\u0644\u064f\u0648\u0646\u064e<\/strong><\/p>\n He is\u02fa the Lord of the east and west, and everything in between, if only you had any sense.\u201d<\/p>\n Firaun then tells Musa AS:<\/p>\n \u0644\u064e\u0626\u0650\u0646\u0650 \u0671\u062a\u0651\u064e\u062e\u064e\u0630\u0652\u062a\u064e \u0625\u0650\u0644\u064e\u0640\u0670\u0647\u064b\u0627 \u063a\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0631\u0650\u0649 \u0644\u064e\u0623\u064e\u062c\u0652\u0639\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0646\u0651\u064e\u0643\u064e \u0645\u0650\u0646\u064e \u0671\u0644\u0652\u0645\u064e\u0633\u0652\u062c\u064f\u0648\u0646\u0650\u064a\u0646\u064e<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cIf you take any other god besides me, I will certainly have you imprisoned.\u201d<\/p>\n His (Firaun) belief was that anyone who can jail people as he wishes is indeed powerful.<\/p>\n This can be seen today where people are constantly in a show of power no matter how little. And they say words like \u201cdo you know who I am?\u201d Or threatening people with police arrest. This does not however place you in high esteem with Allah, rather those who obey and fear him in private or public regardless of their position in life are those Allah has placed in high esteem.<\/p>\n Musa AS then asked him:<\/p>\n \u0642\u064e\u0627\u0644\u064e \u0623\u064e\u0648\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0648\u0652 \u062c\u0650\u0626\u0652\u062a\u064f\u0643\u064e \u0628\u0650\u0634\u064e\u0649\u0652\u0621\u064d \u0645\u0651\u064f\u0628\u0650\u064a\u0646\u064d<\/strong><\/p>\n “Even if I bring you something manifest (and convincing).”<\/p>\n \u0642\u064e\u0627\u0644\u064e \u0641\u064e\u0623\u0652\u062a\u0650 \u0628\u0650\u0647\u0650\u06e6\u0653 \u0625\u0650\u0646 \u0643\u064f\u0646\u062a\u064e \u0645\u0650\u0646\u064e \u0671\u0644\u0635\u0651\u064e\u0640\u0670\u062f\u0650\u0642\u0650\u064a\u0646\u064e<\/strong><\/p>\n Firaun said: “Bring it forth then, if you are of the truthful!”<\/p>\n \u0641\u064e\u0623\u064e\u0644\u0652\u0642\u064e\u0649\u0670 \u0639\u064e\u0635\u064e\u0627\u0647\u064f \u0641\u064e\u0625\u0650\u0630\u064e\u0627 \u0647\u0650\u0649\u064e \u062b\u064f\u0639\u0652\u0628\u064e\u0627\u0646\u064c \u0645\u0651\u064f\u0628\u0650\u064a\u0646\u064c<\/strong><\/p>\n Hearing this, Musa threw down his staff, and thereupon it changed into veritable serpent.<\/p>\n \u0648\u064e\u0646\u064e\u0632\u064e\u0639\u064e \u064a\u064e\u062f\u064e\u0647\u064f\u06e5 \u0641\u064e\u0625\u0650\u0630\u064e\u0627 \u0647\u0650\u0649\u064e \u0628\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0636\u064e\u0627\u0653\u0621\u064f \u0644\u0650\u0644\u0646\u0651\u064e\u0640\u0670\u0638\u0650\u0631\u0650\u064a\u0646\u064e<\/strong><\/p>\n Then he drew forth his hand and it became shining bright for the spectators. [Ash-Shu\u2019ara 26: 24 \u2013 33]<\/p>\n The jail threat however did not stop Musa AS from continuing his message as directed by Allah.
