Ingredients<\/p>\n

Jumbo eggs (or 5 large eggs)<\/p>\n

1 and 1\/2 cups castor sugar<\/p>\n

2 tsp vanilla essence<\/p>\n

1\/2 cup oil<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

1 and 1\/2 cups flour<\/p>\n

2 tblsp maziena<\/p>\n

4 heaped tsp baking powder<\/p>\n

Lift the above dry ingredients 5 times<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

1 Cup boiling water<\/p>\n

2 tblsp cocoa powder<\/p>\n

Add the cocoa to the boiling water<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Method<\/p>\n

Preheat oven to 180 degrees<\/p>\n

beats the eggs for about 10 mins<\/p>\n

until white, creamy and frothy<\/p>\n

add the castor sugar. Beat<\/p>\n

Add the oil and vanilla essence<\/p>\n

Beat again<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Thereafter add the flour mixture<\/p>\n

alternating with the boiling<\/p>\n

water\/cocoa mixture<\/p>\n

Beat well<\/p>\n

Pour batter into greased pans<\/p>\n

and bake for +- at 180 degrees<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Decorate as desired with ganache, fresh cream or butter cream<\/p>\n
