A pioneer in holistic personal development, Shanaaz Renderee is transforming the lives of homemakers through her “Survival Skills for the Homemaker” program. Combining counselling and certified life coaching expertise, Shahnaaz has spent nearly two decades empowering women to navigate life’s complexities with resilience and grace.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Radio Islam International<\/a>, Shahnaaz shared the origins of her initiative, explaining how the course \u201cchose\u201d her. \u201cIt began 19 years ago as a parenting program under the guidance of Moulana Chauhan. Initially, it seemed uncertain with only seven students, but persistence and community need propelled it to reach over 40 participants within a year,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Shahnaaz emphasizes that effective parenting starts with self-awareness. Her program introduces modules on personal development, anger and stress management, and time management. “Parenting is deeply interconnected with individual maturity and self-esteem. To guide children effectively, we must first resolve our personal struggles,” she noted.<\/p>\n

The course also addresses marriage dynamics. \u201cYou can\u2019t begin at the end. Understanding yourself and your marriage lays the groundwork for parenting,\u201d she remarked. Shahnaaz highlighted alarming divorce rates, attributing them to a superficial focus on weddings rather than the realities of married life. \u201cWe prepare for weddings, not marriages. The spouse you choose is not just a partner but the future parent of your children,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

A standout offering is her year-long madrasa-based course, which blends spiritual guidance and personal development. “We\u2019ve gone digital to reach women globally, from Dubai to South Africa, helping them save their marriages and themselves from anxiety,” she said.<\/p>\n

For homemakers seeking holistic growth, Sister Shahnaaz’s initiative includes unique elements like menu planning and creative workshops, such as “Paint Your Peak,” where participants explore personal growth through art.<\/p>\n
