Allah not only provides external means of safety but also instils within us natural defence mechanisms that protect us from harm and aid in recovery when we fall ill. The Qur\u2019an and Sunnah repeatedly highlight how Allah nurtures us by shielding us from dangers and equipping our bodies with the ability to heal. Allah says:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u0648\u064e\u0625\u0650\u0630\u064e\u0627 \u0645\u064e\u0631\u0650\u0636\u0652\u062a\u064f \u0641\u064e\u0647\u064f\u0648\u064e \u064a\u064e\u0634\u0652\u0641\u0650\u064a\u0646\u0650<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd when I am ill, it is He who cures me.\u201d (Ash-Shu\u2019ara 26: 80)<\/p>\n<p>Recognizing these divine signs within our physical existence strengthens our faith, gratitude, and trust in our Lord\u2019s care.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong> The Body\u2019s Built-in Protection: The Immune System<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>One of the greatest signs of Allah\u2019s nurturing is the immune system, a complex network that defends the body from harmful pathogens. Allah says:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u0625\u0650\u0646\u0651\u064e\u0627 \u062e\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0642\u0652\u0646\u064e\u0627 \u0671\u0644\u0652\u0625\u0650\u0646\u0633\u064e\u0640\u0670\u0646\u064e \u0645\u0650\u0646 \u0646\u0651\u064f\u0637\u0652\u0641\u064e\u0629\u064d \u0623\u064e\u0645\u0652\u0634\u064e\u0627\u062c\u064d \u0646\u0651\u064e\u0628\u0652\u062a\u064e\u0644\u0650\u064a\u0647\u0650 \u0641\u064e\u062c\u064e\u0639\u064e\u0644\u0652\u0646\u064e\u0640\u0670\u0647\u064f \u0633\u064e\u0645\u0650\u064a\u0639\u064b\u06e2\u0627 \u0628\u064e\u0635\u0650\u064a\u0631\u064b\u0627<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIndeed, We created man from a drop of fluid, mingling it so that We may test him, and We made him hearing and seeing.\u201d (Al-Insan 76: 2)<\/p>\n<p><em>How Allah nurtures us through immunity:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>White blood cells detect and destroy harmful bacteria and viruses.<\/li>\n<li>The body remembers past infections, making future responses faster and stronger.<\/li>\n<li>Fever and inflammation are natural defence mechanisms to fight infections.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Without conscious effort, our body is constantly defending us from illnesses\u2014a sign of Allah\u2019s mercy and nurturing care.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong> The Skin: A Protective Barrier<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The skin is one of the most important shields Allah has given us. It protects us from environmental hazards, infections, and dehydration. Allah says:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have certainly created man in the best of stature.\u201d (At-Tin 95: 4)<\/p>\n<p><em>How Allah nurtures us through our skin:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Acts as a waterproof barrier, preventing harmful substances from entering the body.<\/li>\n<li>Contains pain receptors to warn us of dangers like extreme heat or sharp objects.<\/li>\n<li>Repairs itself by regenerating new cells when injured.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our skin is a constant reminder of Allah\u2019s wisdom, allowing us to function safely in the world.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong> The Healing Power of the Body<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Allah has instilled within us self-healing abilities that allow our bodies to recover from injuries and illnesses. The Prophet \ufdfa said:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u0625\u0650\u0646\u0651\u064e \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0651\u064e\u0647\u064e \u0623\u064e\u0646\u0652\u0632\u064e\u0644\u064e \u0627\u0644\u062f\u0651\u064e\u0627\u0621\u064e \u0648\u064e\u0627\u0644\u062f\u0651\u064e\u0648\u064e\u0627\u0621\u064e \u0648\u064e\u062c\u064e\u0639\u064e\u0644\u064e \u0644\u0650\u0643\u064f\u0644\u0651\u0650 \u062f\u064e\u0627\u0621\u064d \u062f\u064e\u0648\u064e\u0627\u0621\u064b<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor every disease, Allah has sent down a cure.\u201d (Abu Dawood 3874)<\/p>\n<p><em>Ways Allah nurtures us through healing:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wounds clot and heal naturally through blood platelets.<\/li>\n<li>Broken bones repair themselves over time.<\/li>\n<li>Damaged cells regenerate to restore bodily functions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Even modern medicine relies on the body\u2019s natural healing processes, highlighting Allah\u2019s wisdom in His creation.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><strong> Sleep: The Divine Reset for the Body<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Sleep is a gift from Allah that allows our body to rest, recover, and strengthen itself.\u00a0 Allah says:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u0648\u064e\u062c\u064e\u0639\u064e\u0644\u0652\u0646\u064e\u0627 \u0646\u064e\u0648\u0652\u0645\u064e\u0643\u064f\u0645\u0652 \u0633\u064f\u0628\u064e\u0627\u062a\u064b\u0627<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd We made your sleep a means of rest.\u201d (An-Naba 78: 9)<\/p>\n<p><em>How sleep nurtures us physically:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Boosts immune function, helping to fight infections.<\/li>\n<li>Repairs muscles and tissues after physical exertion.<\/li>\n<li>Regulates hormones that control stress, growth, and metabolism.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>By granting us sleep, Allah ensures our physical and mental rejuvenation, allowing us to function optimally.<\/p>\n<p>Allah, in His boundless mercy, has given us systems of protection and healing that allow us to live healthy, resilient lives.
