One of the most powerful ways Allah nurtures our minds is by encouraging us to reflect on His creation. The vastness of the universe, the intricacies of nature, and the signs within ourselves all point to Allah\u2019s existence, power, and wisdom.<\/p>\n<p><em>When we reflect on creation, we develop:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stronger faith (Iman) \u2013 Recognizing Allah\u2019s greatness.<\/li>\n<li>Mental clarity and peace \u2013 Appreciating the harmony in the world.<\/li>\n<li>A sense of purpose \u2013 Understanding our role in creation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>The Qur&#8217;an Calls Us to Reflect on Creation<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Allah Commands Us to Look at the Universe<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the Qur&#8217;an, Allah repeatedly commands us to observe and think deeply about His creation. Those who remember Allah while standing, sitting, and lying on their sides, and reflect on the creation of the heavens and the earth, (saying:) \u2018Our Lord! You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You! Protect us from the punishment of the Fire.\u2019&#8221; (Aal-e-Imran 3: 190-191)<\/p>\n<p>This verse teaches that true wisdom comes from constant reflection on creation. He wept so much that his beard became wet. He continued crying until the ground beneath him was wet. When Bilal came to call him for prayer, he said, &#8220;O Messenger of Allah, why do you weep when Allah has forgiven all your past and future sins?&#8221; The Prophet (\ufdfa) replied, &#8220;O Bilal! And at the earth \u2014 how it is spread out?&#8221; (Ghashiyah 88:\u00a0 17-20)<\/p>\n<p>These verses urge us to observe nature with curiosity and appreciation.
