Providing Role Models in Social Behaviour<\/strong><\/p>\n

One of the most powerful ways in which Allah \ufdfb nurtures us socially is by providing role models who exemplify ideal social behaviour. From the Prophets (peace be upon them) to righteous individuals, Islam presents us with examples of people whose conduct, manners, and relationships serve as a blueprint for ethical and compassionate living.<\/p>\n

The greatest of these role models is Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa, whom Allah \ufdfb sent as “Uswatun Hasanah” (the best example). Alongside him, the Prophets AS, the Sahabah (Companions) RA, and the righteous people of the past provide lessons on kindness, justice, humility, patience, and generosity.<\/p>\n

  1. Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa: The Ultimate Role Model<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa is the greatest role model in social behaviour. Allah \ufdfb Himself testifies to his noble character and conduct.<\/p>\n

    “Indeed, in the Messenger of Allah, you have an excellent example for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day and who remembers Allah often.” (Al-Ahzab 33: 21)<\/p>\n

    Aisha (RA) was asked about the character of the Prophet \ufdfa, and she said:<\/p>\n

    “His character was the Qur\u2019an.” (Muslim)<\/p>\n

    1. The Prophets as Role Models of Social Behaviour<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Throughout history, Allah sent Prophets AS as role models to guide humanity. Each Prophet AS was an example of strength, patience, and leadership in different social situations.<\/p>\n

      Prophet Ibrahim (AS) – The Role Model of Faith and Hospitality<\/em><\/p>\n

      \u0648\u064e\u0625\u0650\u0628\u0652\u0631\u064e\u0670\u0647\u0650\u064a\u0645\u064e \u0671\u0644\u0651\u064e\u0630\u0650\u0649 \u0648\u064e\u0641\u0651\u064e\u0649\u0670<\/strong><\/p>\n

      “And of Ibrahim, the one who fulfilled [his obligations].” (An-Najm 53: 37)<\/p>\n

      Prophet Musa (AS) – The Role Model of Leadership and Justice<\/em><\/p>\n

      \u0648\u064e\u0671\u0635\u0652\u0637\u064e\u0646\u064e\u0639\u0652\u062a\u064f\u0643\u064e \u0644\u0650\u0646\u064e\u0641\u0652\u0633\u0650\u0649<\/strong><\/p>\n

      “And I have chosen you for Myself.” (Taha 20: 41)<\/p>\n

      Prophet Yusuf (AS) – The Role Model of Patience and Forgiveness<\/em><\/p>\n

      “Indeed, whoever fears Allah and is patient \u2014 then indeed, Allah does not allow the reward of those who do good to be lost.” (Yusuf 12: 90)<\/p>\n

      1. The Companions (Sahabah) RA as Role Models in Social Conduct<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        The Companions of the Prophet \ufdfa were the best students of his teachings, exemplifying great social conduct.<\/p>\n

        Abu Bakr As-Siddiq (RA) – The Role Model of Loyalty and Kindness<\/em><\/p>\n

        He supported the Prophet \ufdfa in all circumstances and freed many slaves, including Bilal (RA).<\/p>\n

        “But the righteous one will be spared from it \u2014 he who gives from his wealth to purify himself.” (Al-Layl 92: 17-18)<\/p>\n

        Umar ibn Al-Khattab (RA) – The Role Model of Justice<\/em><\/p>\n

        He was known for his strength, discipline, and fairness in governance.<\/p>\n

        The Prophet \ufdfa said:<\/p>\n

        “If there were to be a Prophet after me, it would have been Umar.” (Sunan al-Tirmidhi 3686)<\/p>\n

        Following the Best Role Models in Our Lives<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

        Who do we look up to today? Many people idolize celebrities and influencers, but as Muslims, our role models should be the Prophet and the righteous people.<\/em><\/p>\n

        How do we apply their examples? By adopting their kindness, justice, patience, humility, and sincerity in our daily interactions.<\/em><\/p>\n

        What impact does this have on society? A society built on Islamic role models thrives in peace, unity, and moral excellence.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
