As the Khal\u012blull\u0101h (the intimate friend of Allah), his legacy, righteousness, and unwavering submission have earned him a place among the elite in the Hereafter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Life Lived for the Afterlife<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ibrahim (AS) lived a life entirely devoted to Allah \ufdfb. He rejected idolatry, challenged tyrants, and even endured exile, fire, and personal sacrifice \u2014 all for the sake of pleasing his Lord. His choices were not for worldly gain but driven by a deep hope in the reward of the Hereafter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u0648\u064e\u0625\u0650\u0628\u0652\u0631\u064e\u0670\u0647\u0650\u064a\u0645\u064e \u0671\u0644\u0651\u064e\u0630\u0650\u0649 \u0648\u064e\u0641\u0651\u064e\u0649\u0670\u0653<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd of Abraham who fulfilled [his obligations] \u2026\u201d An-Najm (53: 37)<\/p>\n<p>Because of this, Allah honoured him not only in his time but promised him an everlasting reward.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A High Status in the Hereafter<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Holy Qur\u2019an clearly affirms that Ibrahim (AS) will be among the righteous in the Hereafter:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u0648\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0642\u064e\u062f\u0652 \u0671\u0635\u0652\u0637\u064e\u0641\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0646\u064e\u0640\u0670\u0647\u064f \u0641\u0650\u0649 \u0671\u0644\u062f\u0651\u064f\u0646\u0652\u064a\u064e\u0627 \u06d6 \u0648\u064e\u0625\u0650\u0646\u0651\u064e\u0647\u064f\u06e5 \u0641\u0650\u0649 \u0671\u0644\u0652\u0640\u0654\u064e\u0627\u062e\u0650\u0631\u064e\u0629\u0650 \u0644\u064e\u0645\u0650\u0646\u064e \u0671\u0644\u0635\u0651\u064e\u0640\u0670\u0644\u0650\u062d\u0650\u064a\u0646\u064e<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd We chose him in this world, and indeed, in the Hereafter, he will be among the righteous.\u201d Al-Baqarah (2: 130)<\/p>\n<p>This verse signifies his dual honour: one in this world through Prophethood, and one in the next through proximity to Allah \ufdfb and everlasting joy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Khal\u012blull\u0101h: The Friend of Allah \ufdfb<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ibrahim (AS) was given the exceptional title of Khal\u012blull\u0101h, the Friend of Allah:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u0648\u064e\u0671\u062a\u0651\u064e\u062e\u064e\u0630\u064e \u0671\u0644\u0644\u0651\u064e\u0647\u064f \u0625\u0650\u0628\u0652\u0631\u064e\u0670\u0647\u0650\u064a\u0645\u064e \u062e\u064e\u0644\u0650\u064a\u0644\u064b\u06ed\u0627<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd Allah took Ibrahim as an intimate friend.\u201d An-Nis\u0101\u2019 (4: 125)<\/p>\n<p>Friendship with Allah \ufdfb implies closeness, trust, and a relationship beyond comparison. In the Hereafter, this closeness translates into a lofty status among the prophets and the righteous in Jannah.<\/p>\n<p><strong>His Mention in the Du\u2018\u0101 of Believers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Even believers today ask Allah \ufdfb to bless Prophet Muhammad (\ufdfa) as He blessed Ibrahim (AS) in their daily prayers:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u0671\u0644\u0644\u0651\u064e\u0647\u064f\u0645\u0651\u064e \u0635\u064e\u0644\u0651\u0650 \u0639\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0649\u0670 \u0645\u064f\u062d\u064e\u0645\u0651\u064e\u062f\u064d\u06e2 \u0648\u064e\u0639\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0649\u0670 \u0622\u0644\u0650 \u0645\u064f\u062d\u064e\u0645\u0651\u064e\u062f\u064d\u06e2 \u0643\u064e\u0645\u064e\u0627 \u0635\u064e\u0644\u0651\u064e\u064a\u0652\u062a\u064e \u0639\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0649\u0670\u0653 \u0625\u0650\u0628\u0652\u0631\u064e\u0670\u0647\u0650\u064a\u0645\u064e<\/strong><strong>&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cO Allah, send peace and blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You sent peace and blessings upon Ibrahim\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This ongoing mention in prayer reflects Ibrahim AS\u2019s eternal relevance and high position even in the Ummah of later Prophets AS.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Witness Over His Nation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa mentioned in authentic hadith that on the Day of Judgement, every Prophet AS will come with his nation, and some Prophets AS will come alone. Ibrahim (AS), however, will come with a large following, showing his influence and success in calling people to Taw\u1e25\u012bd.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Meeting Ibrahim (AS) in Jannah<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A beautiful narration in Sahih Muslim describes a moment from the Prophet Muhammad\u2019s (\ufdfa) journey of al-Isr\u0101\u2019 wal-Mi\u2018r\u0101j where he met Ibrahim (AS) in the seventh heaven:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI met Ibrahim on the night of ascension, and he said to me: \u2018Give my Salaam to your nation and tell them that Paradise has fertile soil and sweet water, and it is a flat plain. The plants of Paradise are: Sub\u1e25\u0101nall\u0101h, Al\u1e25amdulill\u0101h, L\u0101 il\u0101ha illa All\u0101h, and All\u0101hu Akbar.\u2019\u201d Sahih al-Tirmidhi<\/p>\n<p>This hadith shows Ibrahim AS&#8217;s love and concern for the Ummah of Muhammad \ufdfa and his presence in the highest ranks of Paradise.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Everlasting Praise and Peace<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Allah \ufdfb commands the believers to send peace upon Ibrahim (AS), and He Himself testifies to the blessings upon him:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u0633\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0640\u0670\u0645\u064c \u0639\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0649\u0670\u0653 \u0625\u0650\u0628\u0652\u0631\u064e\u0670\u0647\u0650\u064a\u0645\u064e<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeace be upon Ibrahim.\u201d As-S\u0101ff\u0101t (37: 109)<\/p>\n<p>This divine Salaam indicates eternal peace, joy, and reward that will encompass him in the Aakhirah.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ibrahim (AS) \u2013 The First to be Clothed on the Day of Judgment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One of the remarkable honours bestowed upon Prophet Ibrahim (AS) is that he will be the first person to be clothed on the Day of Resurrection (Yawm al-Qiy\u0101mah). This is mentioned in an authentic narration from the Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The people will be assembled on the Day of Resurrection barefoot, naked, and uncircumcised.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Then he \ufdfa said: &#8220;The first person to be clothed on the Day of Resurrection will be Ibrahim (AS).&#8221; al-Bukhari, Muslim<\/p>\n<p>This Hadith highlights the immense honour and distinction granted to Prophet Ibrahim (AS) by Allah. On a day of overwhelming fear, shame, and exposure \u2014 when all of humanity will be gathered unclothed \u2014 Ibrahim (AS) will be the first to be granted the dignity of covering.<\/p>\n<p>Prophet Ibrahim (AS) was not just a figure of historical significance \u2014 he is a timeless role model, honoured by Allah both in this world and the next. His devotion, trust, and complete submission made him the Friend of Allah \ufdfb and secured for him a glorious position in the Aakhirah.
