Zindzi Mandela Dies Aged 59

The International Relations Department (DIRCO) has confirmed that Zindzi Mandela, the eldest daughter of late former President Nelson Mandela and Winnie Madikizela Mandela has unexpectedly passed away.

The 59-year-old Zindzi was South Africa’s ambassador to Denmark.

The political activist was just 18 months old when her father Nelson Mandela was sent to prison.

Zindzi is survived by her four children and her husband.
