DEDICATED MUAZZIN: ABDUL RASHID JANNAH FROM MALAWI – WATERLOO ROAD MASJID – KENWYN, CAPE TOWN

Has all documents in order. Has been muazzin for over 10 years at the Waterloo road masjid in Kenwyn, Cape Town.

One of the main reasons that Sheikh Abdul Rashid deserves the Umrah trip is not only that he is the masjid ma muazzin but also gives back to the community in his own capacity by running a feeding scheme every Sunday.

Sheikh Rashid also has many other charity programs enriching the people of Malawi e.g. a Darul uloom in Malawi, Helps poor people with housing and also feeds the people as much as he can by raising funds.

Sheikh Abdul Rashid is a role model for the community as he dedicated 10 years to the up keep of the masjid and serving poor communities. Sheikh Abdul Rashid also helped people go for Hajj and also study at madinah university without him ever going for umrah or hajj.

By completing this application and Sheikh Rashid winning would be small way of thanking him for being the example he is for the community. Please see attached for the work Sheikh Rashid is doing in Malawi for his community while being in South Africa.
