ActionSA has declared that it will not run for Ekurhuleni’s municipal committee seats after the DA Mayor Tania Campbell was reinstated last week. The multiparty coalition for the metro is currently renegotiating.

On Monday, the party organised a press conference to discuss the precarious multiparty coalitions in Gauteng.

It stated that the party must push for improved service delivery to Ekurhuleni communities.

Before Campbell’s dismissal two weeks ago, ActionSA had two representatives on the mayoral committee: Charlotte Zitha represented public safety and health, while Tlhogi Moseki represented social development.
