The journeys of some of these early trailblazers to the then Transvaal is nothing short of epic, and as Zuleikha Mayat says, sometimes more thrilling than any fiction. In this episode, we recount a typical journey of an economic migrant of this era and also highlight the first Masaajid to have graced the Transvaal.
