With the results for the top leadership position imminent, the race is hotting up with horse trading among delegates from the various provinces taking place.

The results could be different from the initial predictions, and if Ramaphosa does win, what would his term be like with an unfriendly NEC?

As the delegates continue to vote and votes are tallied, it is glaring to South Africans how deep the rifts are within the ANC.
