Apple Authorised iPhone Screen Repairs Now Available in SA

Faizel Patel, Radio Islam News – 25-01-2018

Core Group, the official distributors of Apple products in South Africa has announced that Apple Authorised replacements for accidentally cracked iPhone screens will be available for the first time to customers, through iStore and Digicape, from Monday 29 January.

This is the first time local iPhone users can have their screen replacement  completed by an Apple Authorised Service Provider which the Core Group says is up to R9 000 cheaper than non-authorised repairs.

The company says repairs will be completed within 4 working days, subject to demand, but if the repair is urgent, the iStore Sandton Drive will offer an express service where customers can book to have their screen repaired on the same day as their scheduled appointment.

Core Group has dissuaded customers from having their screen repaired at unauthorised vendors saying it could impair functionality and warranty.

“Only an authorised screen repair at an Apple Authorised Service Provider, using genuine Apple spare parts and specialised equipment, will ensure your repaired product is returned working the way it should.”

The Core Group says Screen repairs booked through iStore or Digicape ensure that there is no compromise on functionality, warranties remain valid and trade-in values are secure.

Screen repairs are available for the iPhone 6s and later models, including the recently launched iPhone X.
