Asus Unveils ZenFone 5, an iPhone X Clone

ASUS officially unveiled its new ZenFone 5 series at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.

The line-up includes the ZenFone 5Z and the ZenFone 5.

The new Zenfone 5Z device has a 6.2-inch 18:9 notched screen that deliver a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio and a vertically mounted dual camera, which looks quite a lot like Apple’s iPhone X.

Inside the Zenfone 5 you’ll find one of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 636 chipsets with either 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage or 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.

Also new are ZeniMoji, the company’s own take at Apple’s Animoji and Samsungs AR Emoji.

Asus says It’s the first-ever ZenFone model to harness the power of the latest Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform with AIE, featuring a 3rd-generation AI platform.

The ZenFone 5Z starts at $499 in the US.
