Ingredients
¼ cup oil
2 medium onions thinly sliced
6 cloves garlic – sliced
½ tsp mustard seeds
½ tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp sesame seeds
½ tsp tumeric
Salt to taste
15 baby potatoes- peeled
2 medium thin sweet potatoes peeled and cut into pieces
10 baby carrots (punnet)
10 cocktail onions
I medium green pepper thinly sliced
12 cherry tomatoes
1 cup shelled French beans(optional)
2 tsps sugar
½ cup boiling water to steam
Parsley to garnish
Method
- Boiled shelled French beans in water till soft and set aside
- Saute onion garlic mustard cumin and sesame seeds in oil until onions are soft.
- Add baby potatoes sweet potatoes carrots cocktail onions green peppers tumeric and salt. Add boiling water and steam on low heat until veggies are tender.
- Micx sugar and lemon juice together and add veggies.
- Arrange cherry tomatoes and beans over and stream for 5 mins
- Garnish and serve hot .
