INGREDIENTS
4 EGGS
2 CUPS SUGAR
1 CUP WATER
¾ CUP MILK
2 ½ CUPS CAKE FLOUR
4 TSPS BAKING POWDER
½ CUP OIL
SYRUP
2 CUPS ICING SUGAR
½ CUP MILK/WATER MIXTURE
30g BUTTER
¼ CUP COCOA
1 TSP VANILLA ESSENCE
METHOD
BEAT EGGS AND SUGAR UNTIL LIGHT AND FLUFFY.
ADD OIL, MILK AND WATER.
SIFT DRY INGREDIENTS, AND ADD TO EGG MIXTURE AND BEAT.
POUR MIXTURE INTO A WELL GREASED SQUARE BAKING PAN.
BAKE AT 180c UNTIL DONE.
WHEN COOL TURN OUT AND CUT INTO SQUARES.
TO MAKE SYRUP, BOIL ALL THE INGREDIENTS IN A POT UNTIL A BIT THICK. REMOVE FROM STOVE AND ALLOW TO COOL.
DIP EACH SQUARE IN SYRUP AND ROLL IN COCONUT.
