½ lb BUTTER
1 CUP CASTOR SUGAR
1 EGG
½ CUP CORNFLOUR
½ CUP OIL
1 TSP VANILLA ESSENCE
2 TBLSP CUSTARD POWDER
FLOUR AS REQUIRED
METHOD
1. CREAM BUTTER AND SUGAR WELL. ADD REST OF THE INGREDIENTS TO MAKE A DOUGH
2. PIPE OUT IN SHAPES AND BAKE IN A MODERATE OVEN UNTIL LIGHTLY BROWN.DUST ICING SUGAR LIGHTLY OVER BISCUITS
