Respected readers, this is a tribute to a rather special individual. Someone who is honoured, revered and respected. Sheikh Yusuf Belo takes the role of Muazzin at our local Masjid in Manzilpark, Klerksdorp. Has been employed since 1999. This already says much!
He has been a vital member of our community for a number of years now. He serves our Masjid with devotion, calling us to prayer with a voice that echoes warmth and comfort.
Fortunate is he who gets to remind us and call us for salaah five times a day, each day! Remind us to connect with our creator.
He is there with a smile, whenever needed. Through rain or sunshine, joy or sorrow, he is there!
But our muazzin’s role extends beyond this; He is well like by all, young and old. The kids all run behind him, wanting to greet him. He knows everyone by name and everyone knows him!
We have to mentione that we appreciate Muazzin's selfless service and commitment. May his example encourage others to also want to dedicate themselves to their work so wholeheartedly.
Thank you, dear muazzin, for your tireless efforts. May Allah reward your devotion and bless you with peace, happiness and continued guidance.
