Ingredients
250g cold hard butter
3 cups flour
7 Tbsp baking powder
2 tsp jeera (cumin) roasted and lightly crushed
Approx ¼ cup of cold water
Method:
Grate butter into dry ingredients and rub until resembling breadcrumbs. Refrigerate to get cold. Make dough with cold water. Keep roller and wooden board in the freezer. Roll out dough on cold board into a big rectangle. Fold and place in the fridge to set for a while. Repeat procedure again then roll out. Cut into finger-length strips. Place 2cm apart of the tray. Bake at 180 degrees until it starts to brown. Remove and put back in the oven to dry. This dough will be handled like pastry dough.
