Fujifilm has announce the launch of the X-T100, entry-level addition to the company’s highly successful X Series range of mirrorless digital cameras.
The new snapper sports a retro design and offers a host of features including a tilting rear LCD touchscreen, built-in wireless and Bluetooth for seamless image transfer, and an extended battery life of 430 frames.
The camera also includes a high magnification electronic viewfinder that allows photographers to see exactly what they are capturing.
The newly introduced three-way tilting 3” TFT LCD monitor (1,040K-dot) on the X-T100 can extend all the way outwards, helping to easily compose self-portraits. The camera is able to record 4K (3840×2160) as well as Full HD (1920×1080) video on the fly.
Light and easy to manage, the X-T100 weighs just 448g with an anodized coating aluminium top cover. It boasts a powerful 24.2 megapixel APS-C size sensor with primary colour filter, equipped with a phase detection autofocus system, while the newly developed autofocus algorithm offering faster and precise focusing.
The Fujifilm X-T100 will retail for an estimated R11 500, and comes bundled with the latest small and light electronic zoom, the Fujinon XC15-45mm F3.5-5.6 OIS PZ lens. For a limited period, every Fujifilm X-T100 sold in South Africa will include with a free Fujifilm Instax mini 9 instant camera, worth R1 099.
The Fujifilm X-T100 will be available locally at the end of June 2018 in Dark Silver, Black, and Champagne Gold (on order only).
