1 cup flour
½ tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 Tbsp butter
1 cup boiling water
1 egg
Bread crumbs
Filling:
500g cubed chicken
1 tsp ground garlic
1 tsp ground green chillis
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup mixed veg
1 tsp garam masala
1 Tbsp ghee
Chopped dhania
1 Tbsp lemon
2 medium onions chopped
2 medium potatoes chopped
Place all ingredients in a pot besides garum masala and dhania and cook until done.cool
Add chopped dhania and garum masala and mix well.
Or
Use filling of your choice
Eg: mince, fish, steak.
Method:
Boil water, add butter and salt
Add sifted flour and baking powder and cook until dry and batter forms into dough. Cool
Roll out and cut into rounds with big scalloped cutter
Place filling, fold in ½ – press edges together
Dip in beaten egg (flour + water paste)
Roll in bread crumbs and fry in deep oil on medium heat.
