Lenasia Community Looks After Its People

Now as the surge of the third wave of Covid-19 continues, local communities like Lenasia and surrounds have not been spared.

In the past few weeks the numbers of Covid burials has increased, so has the number of hospitalizations.

Due to the influx, there is a shortage of beds at many medical facilities.

Radio Islam spoke to community worker Muhammad Bismillah.

He says the third wave has been really hard and households are testing positive.

He also says things are difficult for those that do isolate properly but the help coming in from the community is phenomenal.
