The LG Q Stylus+ is aimed at smartphone users who want a premium device at a fraction of the cost.

Launched in June 2018, the LG Q Stylus+ features a 6.20-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2160 pixels at a PPI of 389 pixels per inch.

The smartphone is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core processor and it comes with 4GB of RAM. It packs 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 2000GB via a microSD card.

The LG Q Stylus+ packs a 16-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

It offers premium features normally found in more expensive phones, such as an advanced camera that rivals the lens of the LG G series. QLens comes standard on the handset, allowing an image of a product to be captured to get more information on where to purchase that item or to learn about similar products.

The LG Q Stylus+ runs Android 8.1 Oreo and is powered by a 3300mAh. It measures 160.15 x 77.75 x 8.40 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 172.00 grams.

The “no nonsense” stylus promises the ability to create notes and memos, personalise images and videos and create animated gifs. The display also has a “palm rejection” system, which will enable users to rest on the display without affecting the stylus experience.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, USB Type-C and FM. Sensors on the phone include Fingerprint sensor, Compass/ Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.

The LG Q Stylus+ retails for about R 4,699.
