[LISTEN] Ml Sulaimaan Ravat: “It is Time to Intensify Our Efforts Ahead of the Great month of Ramadan”.

With less than a week before the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan, esteemed Islamic scholar Ml Sulaimaan Ravat says the time has arrived to shift the gear into a spiritual mode ahead of the month in which the holy Qur’an was revealed, a guidance for mankind.

Ml Ravat was speaking during the Sabahul Muslim drive time programme on Radio Islam on Tuesday.

Ml Ravat says the countdown to the great month of Ramadan has begun.

“Next week this time, it could possibly be the first of Ramadan if the moon is sighted, and if not sighted, next week this time we’ll be getting ready for the first Taraweeh. So either Monday night will be first Taraweeh if the moon is sighted, or otherwise Tuesday night.”

Ml Ravat says it is time to intensify our efforts ahead of the blessed month of Ramadan.

“This is not the time now to let up, take your foot of the spiritual pedal. This is the time now to intensify even further because we have not just one week to get ourselves off sin and into some sort of rhythm and momentum in terms of generating spirituality.”

Ml Ravat made dua that Allah makes this Ramadan 1442, the best Ramadan of our lives, Ameen.
