[LISTEN & WATCH] Fuzzy Logic: Augmented Reality Can Enhance Education

Faizel Patel, Radio Islam News – 10-10-2018

Technology company Fuzzy Logic says Augmented Reality can play a pivotal role in making education interactive for children and teaching them in a different way.

The company is a team of expert developers of Games, Augmented Reality and App products on Apple, Android, Microsoft HoloLens, Nintendo and other platforms.

With clients such as Disney, Microsoft and Nintendo amongst other, they use cutting-edge technology, analytics, behavioural psychology and user research to create entertaining, commercially successful products.

Fuzzy logic is currently exhibiting the wonders of augmented reality at the EduTech Africa Expo at the Sandton Convention Centre which brings together the region’s leading minds in education to harness the power of technology and drive 21st century learning.

From the classroom to the exam hall, library to the lecture theatre, technology is having a transformative impact on every aspect of education.

It is making us re-evaluate traditional education, the ways in which students learn, and what the future of African education institutions themselves should look like.

Fuzzy Logic Founder and Managing Director Jason Reid says AR is a digital overlay of digital elements into the real world.
Reid says the AR can really enhance the education sector.

“Kids can experiment and interact with things and start to learn by doing as opposed to learn by being just taught and kind of reading. That’s very exciting because it lets kids be interactive, it lets them explore which is more creative on their part and it makes it more exciting. This merge of gamification of augmented reality lets us really teach people in a different way.”

Watch Kids sticker / tattoos that come to life with AR and have basic game functionality.
