Make a medicine garden

Immune system boosters
•Garlic is an excellent natural antibiotic and clears infections quickly, eat it often.
•Purple cone flower is very good I fighting infections and building resistance.

Colds, Flu and blocked chest:
Sage , lemon and purple cone flower all make teas that help to keep the chest open and clear mucous.
•A thin sliver of ginger root made into a tea eases asthmatic spasms.
•Finely chopped sage leaves with lemon juice and honey soothes and eases tight coughs.

Cuts and blisters:

•Bulbinela and sour fig are antiseptics and healers. Rub cuts with the juice from the leaves.

Headaches
•Lemon balm, chamomile, or rose scented pelargonium tea will ease tension headaches.
•English Lavender  tea is a sedative, relieved pain and eases muscle spasms. Sleeping on a lavender filled neck pillow, rubbing, rubbing lavender oil on the temples helps headaches.

Arthritis and other aches and pains:
•Pennywort  is called the “arthritis herb” by the Australians. One leaf daily, chewed well and swallowed, is a superb natural revitalizer. Or pour one cup of boiling water over three leaves stand for five minutes and strain. Take this four times a week.
•Parsley and celery detoxify and cool inflamed conditions and inflamed conditions. Eat two tablespoons of each daily or drink celery seed tea 3 – 4 times a week. Pour one cup boiling water over one teaspoon celery seeds, stand for five minutes, strain, and sip slowly.
