Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1 teaspoon vinegar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 tablespoon apricot jam
1 egg
1 cup milk
pinch of salt
Syrup:
Boil together;
¼ lb butter
¾ cup sugar
1 cup milk
½ cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla
Method:
Beat ingredients for pudding together. Bake at 180 degrees for approximately 40 minutes. Once baked remove from oven and poke with fork. Pour syrup over while still hot. Serve with Nestles cream
