2 Cups flour
4 Tbsp butter
½ tsp salt
4 tsp baking powder
¾ cup milk
Method:
Rub butter into sifted dry ingredients.
Make dough with milk- knead well.
Roll out to oblong shape about 1cm thick.
Spread filling and roll up lengthwise, moisturizing edges to seal.
Bring both ends together to form a ring.
Make slits ½ way through the ring at 2 ½ cm intervals
Brush with beaten egg and milk and sprinkle kus kus and tal.
Bake and serve hot with cutney.
