Natural home remedies for piles

Haemorrhoids, more popularly known as piles, can be described as a condition where the veins around the anus or lower rectum swell or get inflamed. It is due to this that a person faces difficulty in passing stool. Piles can be dry as well as bleeding.

Piles are both internal and external. Internal haemorrhoids, unless they are severe, cannot be seen or felt. External haemorrhoids can be seen around the outside of the anus. Although uncomfortable and embarrassing, it is not normally a serious condition.

REMEDIES FOR PILES.

The treatment of the basic cause, namely, chronic constipation, is the only way to get rid of the trouble. To begin with, the whole digestive tract must be given a complete rest for a few days and the intestines thoroughly cleansed. For this purpose the patient should adopt an all-fruit diet for at least seven days. After the all-fruit diet, the patient may adopt a diet of natural foods aimed at securing soft stools.

Apply full strength apple cider vinegar to the haemorrhoid to promote shrinking and a reduction in the itch and pain. Regular internal use can help with the digestion that precludes the onset of haemorrhoids.

Consuming juice of freshly derived karela leaves is a nice way to avoid piles when taken every morning.

Radish juice taken in the morning and night. Start with 1/4 a cup and increase to 1/2 a cup gradually over a period of 1 month.

Consuming bananas are also considered good in piles.

Figs soaked overnight in water when consumed empty stomach in morning helps in relieving from piles.

Crush bitter gourd leaves and extract the juice. Mix 3 tsp in 1 glass of buttermilk, and drink on an empty stomach every morning, for a month.

In a bowl of water, soak peels of a pomegranate. Place the bowl on flame and let this water boil. Turn off the flame, strain the concoction and let it cool down. Drink this once in the morning and once in the evening.

For instant relief, applying coconut oil on the affected region will be your best bet.

Take 1 tbsp black cumin seeds (shah jeera), roast and mix with 1 tbsp of unroasted black cumin seeds and powder both
together. Take 1/2 a tsp with a glass of water once a day.

A tea spoon of ginger juice mixed with lemon juice and honey when consumed daily with honey gives wonderful results in piles

For the treatment of long-standing bleeding piles: Slice   an onion, wash and eat it mixed with curds or sugar once or twice a day for 7 days. Piles can be cured by drinking onion-juice mixed with ghee or sugar for about a fortnight.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE HOME REMEDIES ARE IN NO WAY INTENDED TO REPLACE PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL ADVICE OR TREATMENT. IF YOU ARE PREGNANT OR IN DOUBT, ALWAYS CONSULT A DOCTOR.
