2 cups mealie meal
2 cups water
1 tsp salt
½ cup frozen corn
1 Tbsp margarine
Bring water and salt to boil. Pour mealie meal in the middle of the pot. To slowly form a heap. Close lid tight. lower heat and simmer gently until water is partially absorbed. Then roll into tennis ball size. Place in a square Pyrex dish. Pour tomato chutney and grate cheese on top and bake. Sprinkle mixed herbs.
Tomato Chutney
1 large onion sliced fine
½ tsp garlic paste
Salt and peper to taste
½ tsp dhana
½ tsp jeera
¼ tsp arad
½ tsp chilli powder
1/3 cup oil
¼ cup tomato sauce
4 ripe tomatoes liquidized
Fresh dhania for garnish
Heat oil and fry onions. Add garlic paste red masala and all spices. Braise for a while. Thenn add tomatoes. Cook over medium heat with lid on and till it is thick like tomato sauce. Add tomato sauce . garnish with dhania
