2 Cups Flour
4 Tblsp soft Butter
1 tsp salt
4 tsp Baking Powder
Dash of pepper
Water to bind a sticky dough
Put all dry ingredients in a dish
Add in the butter
Rub in the butter..well
Add tap water to bind a sticky dough. Make this dough just few minutes before cooking. Make a delicious mutton or chicken curry. Note u need extra gravy..in the curry to cook the dumplings well ..and the curry won’t dry out. The curry must be boiling rapidly..before adding in the dough. place dough as per diagram. The pot must be deep. Cos the dumplings rise. After placing the dumplings..close the pot tight. It takes approx 15 minutes to cook. To test it its cooked through..poke with a knife. If it comes out sticky..wait few minutes. If its clean its cooked..switch of and serve immediately..delicious with. a squeeze of lemon juice..or lemon pickle or and kachoombar.
