Social democratic party
- Land reform: The party supports land redistribution and highlights the need for policies that are not susceptible to corruption and mismanagement to be installed
- On why COPE leader Mr Lakota scheduled exit from politics until after the election: The congress national committee requested that he remains as the leader until after the national congress at the end of 2024. “We believe that he is a very credible leader; we believe that he still commands a lot of respect and support in the SA society,” Dikgetsi said.
- Education: COPE understands the need to scrap the 30% pass rate, improve discipline in schools, and redesign the curriculum to suit present-day economic needs.
- Economy: There is a need to reindustrialise the economy to create wealth and jobs for South Africans. Efficient governance will ensure better delivery to benefit vulnerable segments.
